Ridge tiles are primarily used for fixing and sealing the ridge section of a roof, serving as a critical protective component at the intersection of two sloping roof surfaces.
Exceptional Weather Resistance
The surface layer is made of high-weather-resistant ASA engineering resin, offering strong UV resistance, long-lasting color stability, and a service life of 25-30 years.
Excellent Fire Resistance
Complies with the national standard GB/T 8624-2012, achieving a fire rating of B1 (flame-retardant material). Oxygen index ≥30%, ensuring effective flame retardation.
Outstanding Impact Resistance
Impact strength is 3-5 times higher than that of ordinary plastic tiles. No cracks observed after a 1kg steel ball is dropped freely from a height of 1 meter. Excellent low-temperature impact resistance.
Strong Corrosion Resistance
Resistant to acids, alkalis, and chemical corrosion. No chemical reaction occurs after 24 hours of immersion in salt, alkali, and various acids at concentrations ≤40%. Especially suitable for coastal and industrial areas.
Superior Waterproof Performance
Water absorption rate <0.5%.
Thermal Insulation: Low thermal conductivity helps stabilize indoor temperature and reduce energy consumption.
Green & Energy-Efficient: Materials are recyclable; light colors reflect sunlight to enhance insulation; long service life reduces replacement waste and overall costs.
Self-Cleaning & Low Maintenance: Dense, smooth surface resists dust adhesion and is easily cleaned by rainwater.
Lightweight: As a lightweight structural material (approx. 6.0 kg/m²), it reduces building load, improves safety, and facilitates handling and construction.
Aesthetically Pleasing: Multiple color options with long-lasting vibrancy to enhance architectural beauty.
Installation Timing: Ridge tiles should be installed along the ridge CD line. Start from one side of the main tile area, ensuring the first ridge tile’s overlap avoids alignment with the main tile overlaps. Adjacent ridge tiles should overlap by one corrugation.
Fixing Method: Depending on the fixing position, use self-tapping screws with a diameter of 6.3mm and length of 110-150mm. Place the waterproof ring into the groove under the protective pad, insert the screw through the pad’s center hole (curved side down), drill perpendicular to the tile surface, tighten moderately, and finally install the waterproof cap.
Accessory Coordination: Use end caps (end covers) at both ends of the ridge tile for sealing to prevent rainwater and dust ingress.
Execution Standard:
JC/T 2054-2011 "Synthetic Resin Tiles"
T/CBMCA 018-2021 "Reinforced Synthetic Resin Tiles"
Transportation:
Avoid Heavy Pressure and Impact: During transportation, avoid compression by heavy objects and collisions with sharp items to prevent deformation or damage to the tiles.
Avoid Rough Handling: Exercise caution during loading and unloading to prevent rough operations.
It can be transported by sea, land, and air, usually through container transportation
Storage Conditions:
Indoor Storage: Store indoors, away from direct sunlight or rain.
Stacking Requirements: Stack layer by layer following the tile’s waveform. The height should not exceed 1.5 meters, and heavy items must not be placed on top.
Environmental Requirements: The storage room must be kept clean, dry, and well-ventilated.
