Diagonal Ridge are specifically designed for sealing and waterproofing sloping roof ridges (hip ridges). As an essential component of the roofing system, they work in conjunction with ridge tiles, three-way tiles, and other accessories to complete the waterproofing and decoration of the entire ridge system.
Exceptional Weather Resistance:
The surface layer is made of high-weather-resistant ASA engineering resin, offering strong UV resistance, long-lasting color stability, and a service life of 25-30 years.
Excellent Fire Resistance:
Complies with the national standard GB/T 8624-2012, achieving a fire rating of B1 (flame-retardant material). Oxygen index ≥30%, ensuring effective flame retardation.
Outstanding Impact Resistance:
Impact strength is 3-5 times higher than that of ordinary plastic tiles. No cracks observed after a 1kg steel ball is dropped freely from a height of 1 meter. Excellent low-temperature impact resistance.
Strong Corrosion Resistance:
Resistant to acids, alkalis, and chemical corrosion. No chemical reaction occurs after 24 hours of immersion in salt, alkali, and various acids at concentrations ≤40%. Especially suitable for coastal and industrial areas.
Superior Waterproof Performance:
Specifically designed for hip ridges, they tightly interlock with main tiles and ridge tiles to form a continuous waterproof layer, effectively preventing rainwater infiltration along the ridge line.
Thermal Insulation: Low thermal conductivity helps stabilize indoor temperature and reduce energy consumption.
Green & Energy-Efficient: Materials are recyclable; light colors reflect sunlight to enhance insulation; long service life reduces replacement waste and overall costs.
Self-Cleaning & Low Maintenance: Dense, smooth surface resists dust adhesion and is easily cleaned by rainwater.
Installation Sequence: Install after the main tiles and ridge tiles are in place.
Lapping Direction: Lay against the prevailing wind direction, ensuring lapped seams avoid direct rainwater impact.
Lapping Length: Vertical laps should typically be ≥100mm.
Fixing Method: Fix at the wave peaks using specialized self-tapping screws and secure with waterproof caps. Screws should be tightened moderately to allow for thermal expansion and contraction.
Junction Treatment: Cut neatly at junctions with ridge tiles or three-way tiles and seal with weather-resistant sealant for complete protection.
Execution Standard:
JC/T 2054-2011 "Synthetic Resin Tiles"
T/CBMCA 018-2021 "Reinforced Synthetic Resin Tiles"
Transportation:
Flat Placement: Must be placed flat on an even pallet to avoid悬空(suspension)and heavy pressure.
Secure Fastening: During transportation, ensure tight bundling to prevent severe vibration and friction that may cause wear or breakage.
Avoid Rough Handling: Handle with care to protect tile edges and the surface protective film.
It can be transported by sea, land, and air, usually through container transportation
Storage Conditions:
Indoor Storage: Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated indoor area, avoiding direct sunlight and rain.
Proper Stacking: Stack layer by layer according to the tile’s curvature, with a height not exceeding 1.5 meters. A flat padding board must be placed at the bottom.
No Heavy Loads: Do not place any heavy objects on the stack to prevent deformation of the lower tiles.
