Anti corrosion fiberglass purlins
Application

Suitable for purlin systems in industrial plants, logistics warehouses, and other building roofs and walls, especially in high-humidity and highly corrosive environments.

Ideal for load-bearing structures in industries with strict anti-corrosion requirements, such as chemical plants, electroplating facilities, pharmaceutical factories, and food processing workshops.

Designed for coastal areas and saline-alkali regions with corrosive climates, offering exceptional salt spray corrosion resistance.

Used in agricultural facilities like greenhouses and aquaculture workshops that require lightweight, high-strength purlins resistant to moisture and chemical corrosion.

Applicable for renovation projects involving replacement or upgrading of purlins in old factories, enhancing overall corrosion resistance and service life without significantly increasing structural load.

Advantages

Ultimate Corrosion Resistance, Lifetime Rust Prevention

Utilizing high-performance resin and fiberglass composite materials, it offers exceptional resistance to acids, alkalis, salts, and other chemical media, completely eliminating the persistent issue of metal purlin rust and corrosion. With a service life exceeding 25 years, it achieves lifelong maintenance-free operation.

High Strength, Lightweight, Safe, and Energy-Efficient

Its strength surpasses that of ordinary steel, while weighing only one-quarter of steel, significantly reducing the load on the main structure. Easy and efficient to install, it also exhibits excellent fatigue and impact resistance, ensuring building safety.

Insulated and Flame Retardant, Safe and Reliable

The material is inherently non-conductive, entirely eliminating the risk of electric shock. With a flame retardancy rating of up to Class F (self-extinguishing), it provides dual safety protection for special environments such as chemical plants and warehouses.

Dimensionally Stable, Anti-Aging

Its thermal expansion coefficient is similar to that of steel, offering excellent thermal stability. It remains deformation-free and creep-resistant in environments ranging from -50°C to 80°C, with a stable internal molecular structure and outstanding anti-aging performance.

Green, Eco-Friendly, Economical, and Durable

Zero maintenance costs throughout its lifecycle, requiring no anti-corrosion treatment. Its comprehensive economic benefits far exceed those of metal purlins, and the material is recyclable, meeting green building requirements.

Features

Exceptional Corrosion Resistance: Withstands long-term exposure to various chemical media, including acids, alkalis, salts, and organic solvents. Ideal for highly corrosive environments such as electroplating plants, chemical factories, and coastal buildings.

Excellent Mechanical Performance: High longitudinal strength, superior bending, compression, and impact resistance, and stable elastic modulus, meeting the structural demands of large-span roofs.

Excellent Insulation and Thermal Properties: Non-conductive with low thermal conductivity (approximately 1/100 that of steel), providing excellent insulation and thermal insulation.

Easy Installation and Maintenance: Lightweight, compatible with standard mechanical connections, easy to cut and process, high installation efficiency, and requires no anti-corrosion maintenance after installation

Long Service Life: Exceptional weather resistance and anti-aging properties, with a design service life of over 25 years, far exceeding that of ordinary metal purlins.

Instructions

Laying Direction: Proceed from the eave to the ridge during construction. The daylighting panel directly snaps onto the side peaks of the steel panel.

Pre-Drilling: Pre-drill holes before fixing; the hole diameter must be 6-9mm larger than the screw diameter to allow for thermal expansion and contraction.

Fixing Method: Use reliable flashing washers between the screws and daylighting panels, then drill into the purlins to ensure waterproofing and dust prevention.

Lap Sealing: The longitudinal overlap should be no less than 200mm, sealed with specialized waterstop tape or neutral weather-resistant sealant.

Safe Construction: Never step directly on the wave peaks. Place anti-slip wooden boards horizontally on the panels for safe footing during work

Transportation:

Professional Packaging: Bundled with straw rope or film, with protective corners at both ends.

Smooth Transport: Ensure stable placement during loading to avoid severe jolting.

Weather Protection: Implement rain and sun protection measures during transportation.

Gentle Handling: Use soft slings for lifting to avoid impact damage.

It can be transported by sea, land, and air, usually through container transportation

Storage Conditions:

Outdoor Storage: Can be stored outdoors but recommended to cover with waterproof tarps.

Level Ground: Storage area must be flat and solid to prevent sinking or deformation.

Layered Padding: Use wooden spacers between layers when stacking multiple levels.

Height Limit: Stack height should not exceed 2 meters to prevent bottom-layer deformation.

Keep Away from Fire: Although flame retardant, keep away from open flames.
