Sunlight Board
Application

Suitable for new buildings requiring integrated thermal insulation and structural design.

Applicable to concrete, clay brick, and cement mortar substrates or finished leveling layers meeting flatness requirements in new construction projects.

Ideal for agricultural facilities such as greenhouses and eco-restaurants requiring high light transmittance and thermal insulation.

Designed for large-span daylighting roofs in industrial plants, warehouse skylights, carports, and canopies.

Used in commercial and public buildings like stadiums, shopping mall skylights, and swimming pool roofs.

Applicable for decorative and protective engineering such as advertising lightboxes, interior partitions, and safety guards

Advantages

Exceptional Impact Resistance: Impact strength is 200 times that of ordinary glass and 30 times that of acrylic, ensuring safety and shatterproof performance.

Lightweight and High Strength: Weight is only 1/12 that of glass, facilitating transportation and installation while reducing support structure costs.

Thermal Insulation and Energy Efficiency: Hollow structural design with low thermal conductivity, improving insulation effectiveness by 25% compared to glass.

Strong Weather Resistance: Double-sided UV coating protects against ultraviolet radiation, preventing yellowing and embrittlement during long-term use.

Soft Light Transmission: Up to 90% light transmittance with diffuse, gentle illumination and no glare

Features

Excellent Temperature Resistance: Operating temperature range: -40°C to 120°C, deformation-free.

Good Flame Retardancy: Class B1 flame retardant, self-extinguishing when removed from fire, no toxic gas generated.

Chemical Resistance: Resistant to weak acids, weak alkalis, and neutral oils.

Easy Processing: Can be cold-bent, with a minimum bending radius of 175 times the panel thickness.

Anti-Condensation: Hollow structure reduces internal and external temperature differences, minimizing condensation.

Instructions

Installation Direction: The panel edge has a UV coating indicator; the UV side should face the sun-exposed surface.

Expansion Allowance: Drill holes larger than the screw diameter to allow for thermal expansion and contraction.

Sealing Treatment: Use neutral silicone sealant; avoid acidic sealants.

Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean with neutral detergents; avoid strong solvents.

Storage Requirements: Avoid heavy pressure during storage; keep away from heat sources and chemicals.

Information

Execution Standard:

GB/T 34402-2017 "Polycarbonate Sheets for Building Applications"

GB 8624-2012 "Flammability Classification of Building Materials and Products"

JG/T 116-2012 "Polycarbonate (PC) Hollow Panels"

Transportation:

Flat Placement: Place flat to avoid bending and heavy pressure.

Weather Protection: Cover with waterproof tarps to prevent rainwater from entering holes.

Handle with Care: Avoid sharp objects to prevent surface scratches.

Temperature Control: Recommended transport temperature: -40°C to 80°C.

It can be transported by sea, land, and air, usually through container transportation

Storage Conditions:

Indoor Flat Storage: Store indoors in a flat position, away from direct sunlight.

Stacking Height: Stack height should not exceed 1 meter, with a flat base support.

Environment: Keep the storage area dry and well-ventilated, with relative humidity ≤70%.
